I intend to use Atlos services to receive recurring payments, but I am currently facing the following problem:
Cryptocurrencies are not widely used in my country (Brazil), and users with low literacy would find it difficult to use payment exclusively via cryptocurrencies. I know that Atlos.io offers payment solutions in USDC through Moonpay, but the payment values are still much lower than the minimum purchase amount for cryptocurrencies. My service costs around $5.50 per month, which is well below the minimum necessary amount.
Is there a way to use the service with such a low amount so that clients who do not pay via cryptocurrencies can also use it?
This is a common limitation with many fiat payment onramps and exchanges, including MoonPay, that they have a minimum withdrawal amount. In contrast, ATLOS does not have a minimum (or maximum) payment amount limit.
There are a couple of solutions I can suggest:
You a different onramp. There is the noBuyCrypto field that you can pass to the `atlos.Pay’ method to remove the “Buy crypto” link from the widget. Instead, add a link or links to other onramps or exchanges – perhaps, specific to your country – to your checkout page that provide better terms for your users.
Another option I saw merchants who sell subscriptions do is to sell them in “plans” of several months at a time. For example, if yours costs $5.50/month, you can sell a minimum plan of 3 months at a time for $16.50. Then, you can also offer a plan of 6 months or 1 year at a time with a discount.
